The Actual HP LaserJet 6p Printer – Will Certainly Treasure The Quality

Appreciating the likeability of the HP LaserJet 6p printer comes shortly after spending a few minutes giving it a workout. For a fact, the 6p is a fairly low priced laser printer that HP has probably aimed more at the small office or home office entrepreneur rather than those interested in a printer for a networked workgroup. At this, Hewlett-Packard seems to have succeeded nicely, with its HP LaserJet 6P toner producing quality in every job.

For starters, this particular Hewlett-Packard prints out at around eight pages per minute. Nobody would accuse it of being a real speed demon, but it delivers nice enough quality in terms of its print product. For a laser printer currently retailing for as little as $60 at some Internet outlets, the cost-per-page factor should also be exceedingly nice and very attractive.

The printer is also extremely compact, measuring only 8 inches high by 16 inches wide. This means it will fit nicely on any corner desktop environment, out-of-the-way and humming along nicely. It doesn’t have duplex (two-sided) printing, but this will hardly be a concern for the home office entrepreneur at which this particular printer seems to have been aimed.

As far as print quality goes, the HP 6p comes to the game with standard 600 dots per inch print capability. Most folks would say that this is average performance, but again, consider the purchase price that goes along with that decent print quality and it’s hard to see what reasons would be exist to complain about any sort of print resolution capability.

Another attractive aspect when it comes to this Hewlett-Packard is that it connects via wired technology or with optional wireless (for a fee) capability. Most purchasers of this kind of printer will just stick with wired technology, though. Connect it and the printer will do the rest, uploading the correct print drivers so that one will be up and running within a few short minutes.

With only 2 MB of RAM (upgradeable to 50 MB in total) the printer will of course have to rely on an attached computer’s processing ability. This is nothing out of the ordinary. Everything that the printer does will be managed by means of an included 24 MHz processor, which is probably a partial reason for why it prints out at eight pages per minute. But the printer can hold up to 350 sheets, which is quite a lot for such a low priced machine.

As far as its durability, Hewlett-Packard rates this printer at around 12,000 pages per month of duty cycle before it would require any sort of maintenance or replenishment. It has a single printer cartridge that’s good for 4,000 pages of product before needing replacement. Combine that with its low initial purchase price and cost-per-page ratios will be very attractive. Most any person looking for an inexpensive laser printer can’t help but be attracted to it.

In all, there seems to be a lot to like about the HP LaserJet 6p printer. It combines a low price ($60 at a couple of different retail stores, with the average price being somewhere around $90) with nice durability and easy connectivity. When all of its functions and features are added up, and when one considers that it’s a true laser printer, the HP 6p seems destined to be a presence in many home office environments.

If this printer is right for your small office, you might be a cost conscious person.  It’s here that HP LaserJet 6P toner cartridge will provide what you’re looking for.  HP replacement toners seems to resist costly reprints by printing right the first time and cartridges online is a definite bargain.
